This Winter Reading Programme ran from Monday 26 June to Friday 21 July 2023.
Our Winter Reading Programme for children aged 5-12 is back again, and this year we're showing aroha (love) for te reo Maaori!
Tamariki can enrol into our Winter Reading Programme by getting a booklet from their local library OR they can register online via Beanstack, which can be used to track independent reading time and books!
Every one hour of reading earns an entry into your local library's prize draw, as well as an entry into the grand overall prize draw! We have six sets of Tākaro card game and one Kaupapa board game to give to some lucky readers.
Bonus entries can be gained by attending Matariki activities at our libraries during the school holidays - Maanawatia a Matariki!
