75th Jubilee of the Waikato Winter Show
This week’s item comes from 1982, when the Waikato Winter Show celebrated it’s 75th Jubilee. The ‘all new’ show promised to have something for everyone at the Claudelands Showgrounds. The programme included performances by Crunchy the Clown, Fountain City Music Club, N.Z. Marching Association, and multiple schools.
There were almost 100 stands for exhibitors who came from across the Waikato, from portrait photographers and spa pools to a taxidermist!
