Bring new life to your loved items!

Drop in to Auaha Makerspace with your damaged clothing (e.g. ripped, worn or torn jeans, shirts with stubborn stains that won’t come out, or your favourite pair of holey socks that you can’t bring yourself to throw out!) and learn basic tips to mend and repair them.

Tools and scrap material provided, but we encourage you to bring your own as well.

We have the following available for you to use at your own pace:

  • Sewing machine

  • Pins, needles, thread, and elastic

  • Fabric scissors and measuring tape

  • Embroidery machine
