Librarian and young child playing with a robot

In our LEGO Mindstorm Robot Workshops for teens aged 13-16, participants will develop their cognitive, problem solving and communication skills as they construct a variety of robot designs and in turn complete different Mindstorm challenges!

From obstacle sensing cars to robot arms, prepare yourself for the automation revolution today! This programme is free, and it is recommended that students bring their own tablet or other mobile device to connect to the Mindstorms, but there will be tablets provided to use.

Please contact the Whakaahu Innovation Team if you have any questions about this programme.

All libraries are closed on Monday afternoons as part of our winter opening hours, but this programme will continue to be held after-hours in Auaha Meeting Room at the front of the library.
