Li'l Constructibles is a term-long programme daring kids to do something new! Use STRAWBEES to build a robot racer or shapes that intrigue!

Strawbees is a construction set for you to build things that can stand, move, spin, glide, or even walk across the floor using straws, connectors and micro-bits. This programme is suitable for ages 4 to 8.

Guitar Care and Maintenance Workshop

Learn how to save money by caring for your own guitar. Bring along a guitar that needs work, and learn the basics of tuning, restringing, cleaning, and more.

The LAB

The LAB - Libraries mobile makerspace programme is an interactive programme for young people which engages them in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) and engenders a passion for learning.

Suitable for children and teens, aged 10-16.

Spend an hour with the Auaha Librarians during which we’ll talk nothing but stickers!

The Auaha Librarians can show you different tools from absolute beginner to semi-professional to help you get started with your first design.

Needles, pins, and spools of thread

Bring your damaged clothing to repair, e.g. ripped, worn or torn jeans; shirts with stubborn stains that won’t come out; or your favourite pair of holey socks that you can’t bring yourself to throw out. Tools and scrap material provided, but we encourage you to bring your own as well.
