Hillcrest students prepare the illustrations

These photos show Hillcrest High School Year 10 Art Class preparing the illustations for The adventures of Honu. The process involved first deciding what each character would look like - making clay figurines helped with this. For six weeks the students then worked on their allocated page with help from their teacher Sally Spittle. A tissue paper-dabbed technique was used with all the pictures to provide consistency for each page.
