What is Auaha?

Auaha is a space for our community to come in and learn how to use creative technologies through self-directed learning. It's a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing. You can do projects which require high tech or no tech tools. There is some cool tech available as well as lots of opportunities to explore and find new interests. We are keen to promote sustainability by up-cycling pre-loved materials where possible.

What is available in Auaha?

In the space we have 3D printers, a vinyl printer and cutter, a laser cutter and engraver, a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. We also have a VR headset and vacuum former as well as a recording studio. New technology can arrive at any time, so keep an eye out!

What can I make in Auaha?

If our kit can make it happen, so can you! Anything that you make in Auaha must be in line with our behaviour and equipment guidelines

What if I don’t know what I am doing?

As it is a self-directed learning space, we encourage customers to learn how to use the equipment and software. Staff are available for assistance if you get stuck.

What if I need more help?

If you need one on one help, ask our staff about booking in for a private session.

Please note: We have no in-house engineer for the studio, please factor your self-directed learning time for the equipment into your booking. One-on-one time can be booked with a facilitator if you require more in-depth learning with the gear. This may incur a charge – get in touch with the Auaha team to discuss your requirements.

Our kit includes
