What is an eBook?

An electronic book (eBook) is a book you can read on your computer, laptop or other device, such as an eBook reader or smartphone.

From Monday 27th February Hamilton City Libraries will be lending out eBooks through Wheelers ePlatform. You will be able to borrow up to 5 eBooks at a time.

We will have some great Young Adult eBooks for loan on our website, such as:

These will be available to borrow from 1pm on Monday 27th February! Be one of the first to loan an eBook from the Hamilton City Libraries.

If you are looking for some more sites with free eBooks then why not try Project Gutenberg. It is a fantastic place to find classic literature, with over 30,000 titles available. They also have list of their top 100 eBooks and authors.

Or www.e-book.com.au/freebooks.htm is another really good site to try.
