Whether you are looking for pure escapism, indulging in a hobby or in serious study, we can help. Enter our haven of entertainment, learning and imagination. Through our doors await a host of services to make your use of the library easy, engaging and enjoyable. So much more than simply books are on offer.

Our website offers services such as searching free electronic databases and provides links to other interesting and useful websites. You can view lists of new items, search the catalogue from the comfort of your home and reserve the items you want.

Borrowable items are issued free to members for 28 days (excluding magazines, CDs, DVDs and best sellers which are issued for 7 days).

There are 6 libraries to choose from - the Garden Place Library housing the main reference & heritage collection, and five community libraries servicing the Chartwell, Dinsdale, Glenview, Hillcrest and St Andrews communities.
