Professional assistance - Helpful librarians are available at all times to assist you with your information needs.

Resources - Quality collections of items including popular and non-fiction DVDS, CDs (popular, jazz, classical, easy listening, children's and world ). A wide range of magazines and  World language materials are also available at all libraries.

Heritage, local history, archives and genealogical collections - Comprehensive selection of Hamilton and Waikato material which supports in-depth history and family history enquiries.

Reference & research - Extensive and easy to access range of resources including newspaper and magazine articles, dictionaries, maps, phone directories, legislation, encyclopaedia, and much more.

Internet access - Available at all libraries through the Aotearoa People's Network. Sessions are free, but may be limited to 30mins if other people are waiting.

Community services - Extensive homebound services, community rooms and display boards.

Photocopying - Black and white photocopiers at all libraries. Colour photocopiers also at Central Library, Level 3.

Catalogue - View lists of new items in our collections, search our online catalogue from the comfort of your home and reserve the items you want.

Website - Offers services such as searching free electronic databases  for library members and provides  links to other useful websites.

School holiday activities - Brochures with details are available from your library, or check our website.

Playgroup - Playgroups for preschoolers are held weekly during school terms at all libraries.
